About me:
I am a native Houstonian renowned architect and city planner, civic leader and successful businessman. I believe livable neighborhoods are essential to building a great city. I am an Army vetern and serve on over 30 civic and charitable boards.

I would like to meet you!
After this last term term on City Council, there is "Good News" for the people of Houston! My experience tells me that we can expect a more prosperous, efficient, inclusive, and livable city. It is our vision to make Houston more beautiful, but it is not just up to me. It is up to us- the city and county government, civic organizations, and grass roots citizens to help make it happen.
What we need is an over-arching shared vision, and a twenty to thirty year Master Plan. The next twenty years are critical for our success as a gateway city in an increasingly competitive global marketplace. We need a new level of thinking. "Business as usual" will not get the results that we want.
Together, we can build a better Houston.
